Should I get my carpets cleaned?
Carpets can contain all sorts of things over time including chemicals, pesticides, bio-contaminants, allergens, asbestos, dust mites, bacteria, grease and oil deposits, and sand, as well as soil and food particles. Regular professional carpet cleaning will help to remove these items meaning a healthier environment for you and your family.
How often should I get my carpets cleaned?
Most manufacturers recommend that their carpets are professionally cleaned every 12-18 months. Carpets should be cleaned on a regular basis before they become heavily soiled. Allowing soil to build up will significantly reduce the life of a carpet and become much harder to clean and get back to “as new”.
How long will my carpet take to dry?
Drying times depend on many things, including how dirty the carpet was, the makeup of the carpet, how much water was needed, humidity, the indoor atmosphere/temperature, etc. However, in most normal cases, carpets should be dry within 4-8 hours. There are semi-dry methods available, but these aren’t suitable for all carpets and fabrics.
Will you get all the stains out?
We can’t guarantee that all stains will be removed. Some stains permanently damage or change the colour of the carpet and no amount of professional cleaning will reverse this. We are fully trained in stain and spot removal so if you have a stain you are concerned about, let us know and we can give an honest opinion.
